A right-leaning group has called on supporters to include a #dontgo hash in all their Twitter posts. Its now the top trending topic on the site. Not to be outdone, left-leaning hacktivists are trying to pollute that stream by dropping Twitter bombs using the same method.

Twitter being used to distribute malware. In other news, web worms squirm though facebook and myspace. Elsewhere, malicious hackers are starting to use fake Flash Player downloads as social engineering lures for malware. The trend? Social Networking sites, such as blogspot.com and others, offer festering-grounds to cause web security issues to all.

Kentucky has picked every US President since 1964. Right now the state is trending towards …John McCain. Washington remains determinedly Democrat, however, as does Pennsylvania. Alaska is reliably Republican. In a nationwide poll released by CNN, Obama has a seven-point lead.

Another Lone Gunman Theory August 6th, 2008 Lee Harvey Oswald? Nooo. Now it’s Bruce E. Ivins, and what a perfect patsy, just like Oswald. Oswald was killed before he could open his mouth and tell the truth, and so was Ivins. The story is that Ivins committed suicide, and I’m just as certain that he did as I am that I saw a flying pig circling my house with an alien on its back. Oswald was shot dead by a man who was allowed to enter the police station with a pistol when others were being kept

One of the poems: ‘A portrait of death as an artist’ was first published in the winter 2008 issue of Poetry News. It also came a close second in the Hamish Canham Poetry Prize for that year.
